People who live in seven south western provinces, i.e. Västra götland, Halland, Värmland, Jonkoping, Kronoberg, Skåne, Blekinge, may deliver an application by mail. However, mail service will NOT apply to applications regarding Chinese passport issues and Notarization issues. The requirements for mail service are:

- Visa application documents and materials ( for detail, please see requirements of relevant part or section)  

- Visa application fee (only by check or postväxel issued and negotiable by Swedish banks,we don't accept cash.You can use one check for visa fee and mail service fee.)

- Mail service fee: 40 SEK per same-nature application package.The mail service charge is just for the handling of the mail application, not the postage of the returned mail. The service charge (40kr) can share one bank check with the visa fee. But if your applications include both visa application and legalization application, that means two packages, and you should pay mail service fee 80 SEK (40 * 2). If your applications include one-entry visa application, multiple-entry visa application and legalization application, that means three packages as well. You should pay 120 SEK (40*3).

- Express fee(if you need "express" service) : 170 SEK for one application(2-3 working days) .

- A self-addressed return envelope with enough stamps(at least 62 kr) pasted;

Attention: 

Mailed applications will not be processed except that the mail fulfills the above required condition.

We don't accept cash,the mail with cash will be returned to the applicant.

10 working days (excluding mailing time) are needed to process the mailed application. If you need the visa or legalization urgently,please tick "express " on the application form  and pay the express fee.

No "rush" service for the mailed application.

Chinese Consulate-General strongly recommends you to submit your application by person to avoid any lost or damage during mail delivery. The Consulate does not take any responsibilities of lost, delay, or damage during post delivery.

We do not provide international mail service.
